"JUVENILE ORTHOPEDIC DISEASES"
This course is dedicated to those practitioners that intend to improve their knowledge in veterinary orthopedics.
Juvenile orthopedic diseases are a common cause of discomfort and lameness young dogs. Clinical signs, patient's history and thorough examination are necessary to localize the disease, establish differential diagnoses, think of a diagnostic plan and treatment. Understanding of the etiology, pathophysiology and possible differential diagnoses is important when recommending the appropriate medical and surgical treatment and predict a realistic outcome for prognosis.
